Year End Opportunities

We're thankful to have your family in our GCA community, and we'd like to invite you to consider us as you plan any year-end giving. GCA is a registered 501(c)(3), and we are thankful for any support your family may be able to contribute.

This year, some of our biggest needs include support in developing a STEM program for the future. We're hoping to utilize any funds raised to hire qualified teachers, purchase necessary equipment, and develop the program. Additionally, if you know of any qualified science teachers who would be a good fit at GCA, please feel free to refer them to us!

If you'd like to support the mission and goals of Grace Covenant Academy through year-end giving, then we invite you to mail a check, or click the donate button below. If you would like to speak with a staff member to discuss your year-end giving plans, please contact Becky Howard at

Glorifying Our God

Matthew 5:16 says, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." We believe that God is at work in our school, working in the lives of our students, parents, families, and staff. We've had an eventful 2015 with many successes, including:

  • 15 new families joining our school community
  • Our first official GCA basketball season
  • Raising $35,000 in our first major school fundraiser
  • Packing 10,000 meals for the hungry in Haiti
  • Changing our class schedules to incorporate art and music in the Elementary core curriculum
  • Hiring our Dean of Administration, Mr. Stewart
  • Starting our High School program
  • A successful transition with Shawnee Trail Church of Christ
  • And much more

We strive to do good works like these, so that God will receive the glory. We know that only God can make a plan work, and only God can make our initiatives fruitful. But it's so easy to forget that! It's easy to see God provide in a major way, and then move on to the next thing on our list, without really thanking or honoring God for what He's done. So during this season of thanksgiving, reflection, anticipation, and cheer, we want to celebrate what God has done, and is doing, in all of our lives!

As you enjoy your break during the holidays, take time to reflect on how God is working in you and in your family, and celebrate with us the work that He is doing in our students, parents, families, staff, and school community. Please pray that our students, families, and school communities will seek God and will seek to abound in good works, so that our God will be glorified.
