Here are some easy ways you can help Grace Covenant Academy raise needed funds at no extra cost to you!
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education allows us to earn cash for our school and we don’t have to clip them anymore!
Rather than clipping and saving the physical box top labels from products, going forward, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt using the Box Tops mobile app. Please download the Boxtops for Education app so that you can instantly add Box Tops to our school's earnings online.
If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school by Oct. 25. We will still earn cash for all clipped and unexpired Box Tops, that we turn in by November 1. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing participating products.
Recycle ink and toner cartridges
Have empty ink or toner cartridges? Donate them to GCA !
GCA collects name brand, first generation ink and toner cartridges for recycling. This program costs us nothing but helps bring in some extra cash for our school. Please review THIS LIST of accepted ink and toner (name brands only, never refilled) and bring your empties in a ziplock bag to the front desk or the lobby desk.
Designate GCA as your charity
If you shop or buy on Amazon, it’s easy to help GCA raise funds through AmazonSmile!
On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), before you begin shopping, select Grace Covenant Academy as your charity to receive donations from eligible purchases. After that, every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.
Two easy ways:
1. Register your Kroger Plus Card, along with our school bar code 40600, at any Kroger cashier. Each time you shop with your Kroger Plus Card, you help our school earn FREE educational awards.
2. Make a digital account:
Simply visit www.kroger.comand, click on “Community” and then on “Kroger Community Rewards.
Select “Create Account” or sign in.
Find Grace Covenant Academy under the school list or type in our school bar code 40600.
Please be sure to add your card number or create a virtual card number while registering your digital account. This is required for the Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply towards the program.
When we host our three main fundraising events each year, we need your support. Private schools in general must rely on fundraising to survive. This is certainly true of Grace Covenant Academy. Whether you can sponsor a portion of an event or just participate to the fullest, we really need your help. Tuition alone does not cover our costs, and that is true for virtually any private school.
GCA Fall Fun Run (Ninja Challenge this year)
Each fall, usually in October, we host a family fun run. We promote this heavily with our students, whom we ask to get sponsors. There’s generally a lot of fun promotions for the students to participate fully. The best way you can help is to sign up EARLY for the event and help your child to see the importance full participation. This has historically been our biggest fundraiser. We need it to be a success. We also need adult help asking for corporate or business sponsorships.
GCA Spring Gala
In February, we host our annual spring gala, a semi-formal dinner with a speaker and entertainment. This event brings our community together, reinforces the mission of the school and also spreads the news of our work to friends and family of GCA. If you would like to help with this event, please volunteer to serve on the steering committee, purchase your tickets early, sponsor a table, or provide a corporate sponsorship.
GCA Golf Classic
Our final fundraiser for the year is the golf tournament in May. This event brings in gold enthusiasts, often from beyond the GCA community. To help with this event, sign up early, spread the word about it, sponsor a team or provide a corporate sponsorship.
