Living in the light of the gospel
Middle school can be tough for most children because it's a life-stage marked by change. As they grow from childhood into adolescents, it's important that we teach our children how to live in the light of the Gospel. First and foremost, we want to ensure that our students understand the Gospel and begin seeing things through a Biblical worldview. At this stage of life, we want to begin teaching them how to engage culture and live life for the glory of God.
At Grace Covenant Academy, our 6th Grade Program meets Monday and Wednesdays from 8:00-3:00 and 7th through 12th Grade meets on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and focuses on teaching students to see the world in light of the Gospel. We teach basic core subject classes through a biblical worldview and frame them in the Gospel. Students will come to the GCA campus on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays where they will learn through lectures, discussions and various projects. Students will then return with school work for the remaining days of the week. We find this model to be an effective way of teaching core subject lessons and delegating leadership and parental responsibilities to you.
